Scope
What we do
We structure interoperability so existing, regulated systems can exchange and reconcile data without creating a new platform owner or system of record.
Interoperability Architecture
We help institutions coordinate across borders with audit-aligned controls and operational continuity — without introducing new custodial or commercial points of control.
Current posture: controlled engagements only · No public platform onboarding.
Scope
We structure interoperability so existing, regulated systems can exchange and reconcile data without creating a new platform owner or system of record.
Modality
Remote-first, sovereign-neutral and non-custodial. Engagements are initiated quietly and aligned with the counterparties’ oversight and governance structures.
Beneficiaries
Financial institutions, market infrastructures, public-interest systems and cross-border programmes that require continuity and clear lines of responsibility.
The Translator
The translator interprets and transforms structured messages at the boundary between systems, keeping existing oversight, ledgers and authorities in place. Formats include ISO-20022, JSON and JSON-20022, alongside domain-specific schemas.
Step 1
Understand the structure, intent and constraints of existing messages in their native formats.
Step 2
Produce aligned outputs so systems can exchange information reliably under their existing rules and control frameworks.
Step 3
Ensure message flows remain auditable, policy-aligned and neutral across operators and jurisdictions.
Domains & Pillars
Interlayer operates across the same civilizational pillars used in the GIO framework, focusing on message-level translation within and across domains — without taking on governance or custody roles.
Capabilities
Engagements are structured so that institutions retain control over oversight, supervision and systems of record.
Outcomes
Posture
Institutional-first, vendor-neutral and jurisdiction-agnostic. Our work is designed to be adopted by multiple parties without creating a new platform owner or shared data silo.
Scope
Interoperability patterns for settlement, reporting and public-interest systems.
Extension
Identity, compliance and registry alignment when explicitly required by counterparties or programmes.
Engagement
Architecture and advisory for financial institutions, market infrastructures and public bodies.
Governance
Mandate
Interlayer Systems Ltd maintains a controlled interoperability programme focused on translation, assurance and continuity between systems operated in different jurisdictions.
Outputs are structured to be auditable, minimally signalled and suitable for environments where neutrality and clear separation of responsibilities are required.
Signal discipline
No public platform onboarding. No telemetry capture beyond what institutions choose to log. Collaboration is initiated on a case-by-case basis under the counterparties’ oversight.
Emphasis is on reliability, not visibility.
